Volunteer InformationOur school's mission is to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment which inspires creativity, academic excellence and an enthusiasm for learning. We are looking for volunteers to help us with that awesome task.
The children and I invite you to come to school to volunteer your time and talents. We will value you as a volunteer, and appreciate your dedication to the children as a supportive aide, role model, and mentor. It's easy. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children. Volunteer Background CheckDear Parents,
The safety of every student at Snoqualmie Elementary School is a priority for all of us. As a means to improve the level of security here at SES and our other schools, our school district is implementing as policy individual background checks through the Washington State Patrol database for school volunteers. If you would like to volunteer at SES, and have not filled out a Disclosure form in previous years, we have attached a Disclosure Form for Prospective Volunteers for you to fill out and return to the office. All applicants who are interested in working with children must:
the results. The findings from these individual background checks will be kept confidential. Our parent volunteers are a vital part of the success of our students. We encourage all of our parents to be involved. I would like to thank everyone in advance for taking the time to fill out these forms and returning them as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact the office if you have any questions. Sincerely, John Norberg Principal |
